**Description**
This Labor Relations position supports leadership in the integral management of union employee administration. This role contributes to KCSM achieving its strategic business objectives by maintaining an appropriate working environment between Company-Workers-Union. This role works to guarantee the fulfillment of the Federal Labor Law; CCT; RIT; Applicable Railway Regulations and agreements signed with the union.
**Accountabilities**
- Documents the labor relations administration processes to integrate files of: unionized workers, investigations, inspections, labor lawsuits and alimony garnishments.
- Participates in all the localities in the assigned region, attending to the labor authorities, external offices and mixed commissions in the following events:
- a) STPS. Ordinary and extraordinary inspections,
- b) JFCA and Labor Courts. Release of testimonial, confessional evidence,
- c) Safety and Hygiene Commissions, Safety Tours.
- Handles the correspondence, filing and delivery of all appropriate documents to unionized personnel.
- Participates in the care of union employees, listens to their requests or requirements and supports the resolution process.
- Contributes to union personnel hires, additions, deletions and changes.
- Attends to the relationship with union representatives as assigned.




- Understands the relevant business metrics and applies effective tactics to sustain a culture of operational effectiveness that produces teams of high performing, engaged and empowered operational leaders.
**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
**Preferred**
- Able to negotiate within regulatory frameworks such as Collective Labor Contract and Internal Labor Regulations.
- Strong knowledge in the labor relatios management, personnel administration, recruitment and selection of personnel, compensation administration, and the applicable labor laws (Federal; IMSS; INFONAVIT; ISR, and other government regulations).
- Solid communication and group management skills,
- Ability to meet needs of unionized personnel and union representatives.
- Management of PC, packages (windows, office, etc.).
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the field of labor relations and human resources, dealing with unions.
**Working Conditions**
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- Availability to travel, to change residence and to attend to full-time operational needs.
