**What you’ll do**:
**Job Summary**
Responsible for managing supply base for non-production (MRO) items by coordinating, executing, and verifying purchasing process. Emphasis is on selection and management of suppliers so as to provide Eaton with the highest levels of quality at the lowest landed cost while insuring adequate capacity, on-time delivery, and commitment to continuous improvement, in alignment with Eaton’s Ethics and Values.
Focus on working with Corporate MRO integrators ensuring maximum MRO spend is with these providers."
**Responsibilities**:
A. Establish and maintain communication to satisfy the needs of the plant while facilitating a consistent and coordinated communication with suppliers.
B. Issues purchase order to suppliers for non-production (MRO) items in accordance to current process. The P.O are placed based on Eaton T&C.;
C. Prepares purchase order to suppliers in system based on MRO Process.
D. End user of SCM IT systems (AS400, Enterprise One, Oracle) for supplier adds and delete, P.O process, and general information.
E. Maintain and update I-Procure data base and ERP system for new product introduction and changes ass the take place.
F.



Develop and maintain ethical supplier relationships which foster a continuous improvement environment, and promote cooperation with Eaton.
G. Resolve supplier payment issues with finance department, and ESSC team
H. Support new program launches as required.
I. Perform activities according to Quality and Environmental policies established by the business.
J. Promotes continuous improvement
K. Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives. #LI-DG2
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering or similar"
**Years and area of experience required**
- 3 to 5 years of related professional experience in Purchasing (Desirable)
**Technical knowledge**
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in metal-mechanic material purchasing
- Commodity management experience
- Expertise in supplier agreements, price negotiation, cost saving projects management
**Skills**:
Leadership, good communication, self motivated
