We are looking for a skilled **Lead Automation Tester** to join our supportive and innovative team.
**Responsibilities**
- Write and define functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate regression, functional, and smoke testing processes
- Plan automation tasks to align with team testing standards
- Integrate test cycles into the DevOps pipeline
- Work creatively to troubleshoot and resolve system challenges effectively
- Develop automation for testing back-end services
- Document and communicate defects with precision
- Manage test data and environments with efficiency
- Control test script versions and ensure updated maintenance
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; master’s degree is an advantage
- A minimum of 7+ years in Quality Assurance with at least 5+ years focused on test automation or a combined development and testing background
- Background in developing and maintaining automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
- Expertise in creating testing frameworks from the ground up
- Whitebox testing competency with evidence of functional mocking
- Understanding of agile methodologies with direct implementation experience
- Demonstrated skills in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit tests for edge cases, usability, and reliability
- Solid manual testing skills at an advanced level
- Experience in integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical ability paired with organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Background in financial services or wealth management is a significant advantage
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools
