Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an EH&S; Engineer located in Juarez Norte.
Reporting to the EH&S; Manager, the EH&S; Engineer’s role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
- Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all environmental precautions have been included.
- Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and environmental ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency response, safety policies, laws and practices.
- Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
- Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.




- Responsible for identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Serves as internal consultant to business units, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters.
- Audits business units.
- Following to corrective actions about environmental issues.
- Internal audits ISO 14001/45001.
- Knowledge about legal requirements.
- Experience in Harnesses Industry (desirable)
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Intermediate English
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
- Interfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters.
- Compiles and submits safety reports.
