This role assists the technician in installing and maintaining mechanical plant and equipment, and associated machinery to maximize availability of plant and equipment. The role also carries out first line maintenance and routine inspection of plant equipment and compiles inspection reports.

- Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance techniques and practices, including repair, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and regulations related to mechanical maintenance, ensuring a safe working environment for self and others




- Skill in performing routine mechanical maintenance tasks and minor repairs on mechanical systems and equipment

**Education**:
IGSCE Certificate or equivalent qualification
