- Qualitest is looking for Team Leader for Bilingual Engineers on-site in Mexico City!
You will be part of a team of QA engineers, developers, pre-sales, and project managers to help optimize software for certain locales and languages to finally deliver the right product in the locale.
- Provide technical solutions in order to improve the work of the team
- Analyze data and further related analysis
- Work with Search Engineers for advanced algorithm development
- Diagnose and report results
- UI and Product improvement
- Help adjust the user interfaces to the local languages
- Write configuration documents for explanations
- Must-Haves:
- Experience leading teams in a tech, AI, data operations, or language services environment.
- Familiarity with the type of work Language Specialists do (e.g., data analysis, linguistic evaluation, quality control for AI).
- Experience managing diverse teams.
- Nice to Have:
- Python Scripting knowledge
- Prompt Engineering and coding experience
- Project & People Management
- Requirements:
- Project and Operational Leadership: Proven ability to drive projects to success through strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Demonstrated organizational and operational management capabilities.
- People and Performance Management: Extensive experience in direct people management and team leadership, covering the full performance management cycle—setting expectations, coaching, conducting reviews, managing underperformance (including PIPs),



and fostering career development.
- Skilled in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and building a strong team culture that motivates and holds individuals accountable.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong abilities in coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and a genuine interest in the well-being and professional growth of team members.
