**Essential Responsibilities**
- In this role, you will:
- Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/ Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
- Ability to write code in C# (HLP) that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the.NET technology.
- Ability to write code in VB and Python to develop test scripts and run them using the.NET technology.
- Ability to write code in C++ and C# that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the.NET technology.
- Ability to write test procedures and requirements in DOORS platform.
- Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using.NET languages.
- Understand low level programming and embedded software (C, Fortran).
- Understand how compilers and linkers work.
- Understand and handle different Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
- Voices opinions and presents clear rationale.

**Desired Characteristics**
- Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
- Prior experience with scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Perl).
- General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
