**Responsibilities**:
- **Develop and optimize automation solutions** for the Body-in-White (BIW) process, including robotics, PLCs, and other automated systems.
- **Lead and coordinate automation projects**, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- **Continuously improve BIW processes** to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- **Provide technical support** to the manufacturing team, including troubleshooting automation-related issues.
- **Conduct training** for staff on new automation technologies and processes.
- **Maintain documentation** for automation systems, procedures, and updates.
- **Collaborate with cross-functional teams** (design, production, QA) to ensure successful automation integration.
**Requirements**:
- **Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering** (or related field).
- **5+ years of experience** in automation engineering, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on BIW processes.
- **Proficient in PLC programming, robotics, and automation systems**.
- **Familiarity with CAD software and MES** (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- **Strong project management skills**, capable of leading complex initiatives.
- **Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills**.
- **Effective communicator**, with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- **High attention to detail** and ability to ensure technical accuracy.
- **Adaptability to evolving technologies** and fast-paced environments.
