**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting expertise with opportunities to contribute to process improvements, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration—making a direct impact on our company’s financial health and operational efficiency.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Financial Reporting & Analysis**_
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with U.S. GAAP.
- Conduct variance analyses, interpreting results to provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation, ensuring proper classification and impact on the general ledger and financial statements.
- **Month-End & Year-End Close**_
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
- Execute and review adjusting entries, accruals, and deferrals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate close cycles.
- **Compliance & Audit**_
- Maintain adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
- Support internal and external audit requests with thorough and accurate documentation.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**_
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.Track budget performance, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.




- **Cash Flow & Accounts Management**_
- Monitor cash flow, commission payments, and accounts receivable provisions, including reserves for returns and bad debt.
- Ensure accurate tracking of income and expenses, including financial agreements and collaboration contracts.
- **Process Improvement & Projects**_
- Recommend enhancements to accounting processes, support system implementations, and partner with cross-functional teams for accurate financial data.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
- English proficiency is a MUST.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, Power Pivots).
- Strong financial skills with an understanding of US GAAP and financial statement relationships.
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and how transactions impact the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in U.S. company accounting.
