**Hotel Utility / Dishwasher**:
**Salary**: $888 USD per month

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Hotel Utility / Dishwasher is responsible for keeping all galley and hotel public areas spotless, sanitary, and well-maintained. This includes cleaning and maintaining dishwashing equipment, public guest areas, crew/officer cabins, and pool areas, while ensuring compliance with Viking’s high cleanliness and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate dishwashing equipment and clean all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and galley equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, public areas, and crew/officer cabins as per daily schedules.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following Viking’s SOPs and Public Health guidelines.
- Assist with set-up and cleanliness of pool decks, sunbeds, and towel stations.
- Remove dirty dishes,



glassware, and trash from public areas promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues in assigned areas.
- Participate in The Daily Reunion” team meetings and uphold Viking’s STAR Service standards.
- Wear correct PPE and follow safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Maintain Viking’s grooming and uniform standards at all times.
**Reporting Structure**:
- ** Reports to**: Executive Chef, Kitchen Steward, Head Cleaner, or Executive Housekeeper (depending on duty)
- ** Works with**: Galley & Housekeeping teams
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Requirements**:
- Experience in hospitality or cleaning roles preferred; previous shipboard experience is a plus.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
- Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs (30 kg), stand for extended periods, and work 11 hours/day, 7 days/week.
- Knowledge of Public Health and sanitation procedures is an advantage.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
