Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to hire a Material Planning located in Guadalajara, Campus Norte.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Material Planning role is responsible for supporting materials and production functions. Ensuring the supply of materials to meet the Production plan through the release of Work Orders.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support in inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
- Production control.
- Preparation of general reports and analysis activities for the production of production cards.
- Support in supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
- Management of CTB and shortage reports.
- Design, management, and control of data analysis tools.
- Interpretation of complex data, identifying trends, and proposing evidence-based solutions.
- Implementation of action plans with precision, timely follow-up, and results-oriented approach.
- Negotiation with clients and suppliers,



both to resolve critical situations and to align expectations and priorities.
- Interaction with clients and suppliers to reach agreements that benefit operations and maintain strong relationships.
- Representation in CFT meetings.
- Support in client meetings.
- Analysis of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Inventory projection.
- Demand loading.
- Forecast analysis.
- Care and maintenance of planning metrics.
Experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in purchasing, planning, inventory and demand analysis, and MRP.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support the team in their growth and development.
- Knowledge of CTB and work orders.
- Knowledge of planning.
- Advanced Excel.
- ERP (Baan, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge in Kinaxis.
