**Responsibilities**:
- Lead problem-solving for BIW geometry and G/F fit issues during new vehicle launches and project execution at assembly plants.
- Develop and update GD&T; drawings for BIW components and assemblies.
- Perform datum and tool locator and tolerance analysis to ensure KPI compliance of dimensional conformance and process capability during launch phases
- Approve assembly tooling and BIW gauge designs at suppliers and plants.
- Support validation of measurement systems and assembly tools during launch phases.
- Collaborate with metrology/plant teams to resolve build issues.
**Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and body tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with measurement technologies (e.g., scanning, CMM, laser tracker, vision systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; clear and logical communicator.
- Fluent in English (80% proficiency in speaking, reading, and understanding).
- Willingness to travel 15-30%.
- Knowledge of SPC and GR&R; standards.
- Leadership capabilities to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Basic skills in CAD NX and Teamcenter.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with body, stamping, or vehicle systems is a plus.
