We are looking for a **Senior Apigee X Engineer** with a passion for data and a drive to turn API data migration into a competitive advantage.

**Responsibilities**
- Migrate API settings and configurations used to process diverse data sets
- Migrate proxies, shared flows, reports, monitors, users, customers, and custom configurations
- Perform volume and performance testing with both simulators and host system integrations
- Identify technical challenges and communicate obstacles and risks effectively
- Execute complex technical tasks efficiently and consistently deliver impactful results
**Requirements**:
- 5 years of relevant IT experience, including 3 years with Java coding
- Direct technical experience with at least one migration to Apigee X through the full project lifecycle from an earlier Apigee version
- Expertise in Java, REST APIs, SQL, and microservices
- Experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Google Cloud (GCP)
- Proficiency in MySQL, Big Query, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Anthos
- Background in cloud-native development and operations specifically on GCP
- Competency in big data concepts and data engineering practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and techniques related to data migration
- Proven capability to work collaboratively as part of a team and share knowledge effectively
**Nice to have**
- Expertise in 2-3 migrations to Apigee X from earlier Apigee versions, covering the full project lifecycle
- Showcase of delivering migration projects with a Google service provider
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, ReactJS,



and AngularJS
- Certification in relevant technologies
- Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and protocols
