**About the Role**:
We are seeking a seasoned **General Ledger Accountant** to lead accurate financial recordkeeping, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audits and reporting across general frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries (accruals, deferrals, corrections).
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze variances.
- Participate in monthly and yearly closing processes.
- Prepare documentation for audits and compliance.
- Monitor fixed assets and depreciation (Mexico, IFRS, US GAAP).
- Support cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of GL accounting experience.
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong command of IFRS, NIF, and US GAAP.
- Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher).
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
