Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to production, process engineering, and continuous improvement teams.- Manage a two-shift manufacturing operation, including production planning, troubleshooting, staffing, order monitoring, scheduling, and technical training.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion a lean culture throughout the organization.- Analyze production and operational reports, identifying and resolving issues to reduce costs and prevent delays.- Support supervisors in employee relations, problem-solving, goal setting, scheduling, training, and disciplinary actions.- Partner with plant staff to develop and implement safety and quality programs, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.- Oversee and sustain 6S methodology across the shop floor and facility.- Ensure compliance with environmental, state,



and federal regulations with a focus on sustainability.- Collaborate with HR and supervisors to address employee concerns and workplace issues effectively.- Develop and maintain operational budgets, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.- 5+ years of professional-level manufacturing experience.- 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in metal mechanic manufacturing systems.- Skilled in developing supervisors and team leaders.- Strong problem-solving and change management skills.- Experience working in unionized environments.- Proven ability to lead operational turnarounds and implement cultural change.
