Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Buyer Indirect. _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect, this role involves working on coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials._
- What a typical day looks like:_
- _ Procurement of non-standard materials on a ERP system ( aQuire basis)_
- _ Ongoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the integral IP team and the Flex GBS team._
- _ Processing the requests received in the ERP system (acquire) within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal._
- _ Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality._
- _ Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing._
- _ Managing the recruitment of suppliers._
- _ Tracking goods from procurement to receipt._
- _ Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them._




- _ Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team._
- _ Constant liaison with suppliers and peers._
- _ Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system._
- _ Requesting, documenting and interpretation of safety data sheets._
- _ Handling and processing of Titan and AP._
- _ Preparation and recording of reports._
- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:_
- _ Previous experience negotiating with suppliers._
- _ BA/BS degree._
- _ Previous experience in MRO Commodity such as OEM, spare parts and/ or minor equipment._
- _ Advanced English level._
- _ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)_
- _ Experience with ERP systems such as BAAN and SAP._
- _ Supply chain, purchasing and material knowledge is a plus._
