Job Title: Engineering Drafter
Reports to: Engineering Manager-Mechanical
**Comp: 24,000-30,000 MXN/Monthly**
**Position Summary**:
The Drafter will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, 3D models, and documentation to support product design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
**A Day in the Life**:
- Create and modify detailed 2D & 3D mechanical drawings and models using SolidWorks.
- Prepare assembly drawings, bill of materials, and other documentation to support production.
- Review and interpret engineering sketches, specifications and design inputs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with standards.
- Maintain drawing databases and ensure all revisions are documented accurately.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and design improvement initiatives when needed.
**What you’ll need**:
- Associates degree or technical certification in Drafting, Mechanical design, or equivalent relevant experience




- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design using SolidWorks required
- Strong understanding of dimensioning, tolerances, and GD&T; standards.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, or injection molding is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
