**You Are**:
UST is seeking a highly skilled Lab Technician. This role requires strong technical expertise in hardware computer. This position involves working from the customer site from Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM.
**The opportunity**:
- As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible, but not limited to:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment in the assigned Lab areas. Identify potential risk in the work environment and follow practices to prevent injury to any personnel and Intel equipment.
- Perform Safety Management by Walking Around activities on a regular cadence (monthly or more frequently) and escalate any safety concerns that could not be immediately resolved by the own personnel to Intel.
- Ensure all the operations executed by the technicians are compliant with Intel guidelines governing Environmental Health and Safety, Physical Security, Information Security, and PreProduction HW and Physical IP.
- Build and Maintain lab hosts.



Deploy lab hosts installing correct image and joining to corporate network, keep hosts optimally operational and secure by installing all necessary system updates and performing preventative HW/SW maintenance. Install host software and libraries necessary for test and debug.
- Basic physical interaction of HW in the systems: Connection, removal, installation of HW (Board, Cards, KVM, Serial, TTK, Dediprog, Host, CPU, PCH, Peripherals, PDU, Power Splitter, Network Cables, etc.).
- Basic triage of system functionality: Disconnection, Cable or component faults, Visual comparison of expected configuration. Basic postcodes, Host verification, Access with VNC, Power on or reboot a platform / SUT.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
**What you need**:
1+ years of experience working as a technician in the following areas:
- Build and Maintain lab hosts.
- Installing system updates in computers’ hardware and software.
- Preventative maintenance for computers’ hardware and software.
