**About the Role**
We are looking for an **Infrastructure & Operations Engineer** to support the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform. This role combines **systems administration, monitoring, automation, and financial operations support**, playing a critical part in maintaining high-availability environments and transaction integrity.
**Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Systems**
- Manage and support daily infrastructure operations (servers, databases, firewalls, storage, backups, VMs, containers)
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux environments
- Work with virtualized environments (VMware)
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security
**Monitoring & Performance**
- Analyze performance metrics and proactively identify issues
- Work with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or SolarWinds
- Support incident response and troubleshooting
**Automation & Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes
- Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (runbooks, diagrams, procedures)
**FinTech Operations (SPEI)**
- Monitor, reconcile, and validate financial transactions
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in operations
- Support same-day settlement processes
- Process returned transactions and report atypical activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Collaborate on operational controls and authorization processes




**Required Qualifications**
- 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong experience with **SQL / MySQL databases**:
- Experience managing **Windows and Linux servers**:
- Hands-on experience with **VMware or similar virtualization technologies**:
- Experience with **monitoring tools** (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)
- Experience with **scripting or automation** (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Understanding of **high-availability and fault-tolerant systems**
**Nice to Have**
- Experience working in **financial services or FinTech environments**:
- Knowledge of **SPEI operations or payment systems**:
- Familiarity with **Banxico regulations**:
- Experience with **containers (Docker, JBoss, etc.)**:
- Experience creating **technical documentation and network diagrams**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per month
