**Job Summary**:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **EH&S; Engineer (Temporary, 6 months)**located in **Juarez, North Site**.
Reporting to the **EHS Manager**, the **EH&S; Engineer (Temporary, 6 months)**will be focused on: Maintains: Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations, coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S;) programs in site and off the site when required and develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements in regards pf Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability programs
**What a typical day looks like**:
- Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs.
- Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to define if all safety precautions have been included.
- Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Define requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds, and installs or directs installation of safety devices on machinery.
- Conducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency acknowledge, safety policies, laws and practices.
- Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.




- Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.
- In charge of identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Serves as internal consultant to business units on ergonomics, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters.
- Audits business units.
- Interfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters.
- Compiles and submits safety reports.
- Administers workers compensation, OSHA 2000 log and return to work program.
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team**:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in EH&S; or related position.
- ISO 14001 / 45000 / OHSAS 18000
- Intermediate English able to establish communication at different levels.
- Experience in Sustainability, EH&S; and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.
- Previous experience in EH&S;, renewable energy, water conservation and sustainability activities within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret safety guidelines, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
