- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _**_Product Engineer_**_ located in _**_Aguascalientes_**_. _
- Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, this role involves responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity_
**What a typical day looks like**:
- _ Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product._
- _ Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._
- _ Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process._
- _ Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs)._




- _ Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met._
- _ Develop and implement BOM management processes and best practices._
- _ Maintain documentation and records related to BOMs._
- _ Support engineering change orders (ECO) and manage BOM revisions._
- _ Prepare reports and presentations on BOM status and metrics._
- _ Identify and mitigate risks related to BOM management._
- _ Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies._
- _ Implement statistical process research on new and existing products._
- _ Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team**:
- _ Bachelor' degree in Engineering Mechanical, _Electrical/Electronic,_ Industrial, or equivalent._
- _ Junior experience in the related field is required for this position._
- _ Proficiency in BOM management software_
