**What a typical day looks like**:
- _ Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data._
- _ Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues._
- _ Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel._
- _ May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software._
- _ Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques._
- _ Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements._
- _ Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production._
- _ Create and maintain process documentation._




- _ Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector._
- _ Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations._
**_ Specialized Job Responsibilities may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties:_**
**_ IN-CIRCUIT_**
- _ Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs._
- _ Develops or modifies test models._
- _ Performs written analysis of fault grade._
- _ Develops quotes for test development and enhancements._
- _ Performs test ability analysis (DFT)._
- _ Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures._
- _ Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures._
**_ SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE_**
- _ Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware)._
- _ Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests._
- _ Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs._
- _ Develops quotes for test development and enhancements._
- _ Performs test ability analysis (DFT)._
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team**:
- _ Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in related field _
- _Advance English._
- _ Experience in test engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area_
- _ Experience in functional test equipment_
- _ Prior Services or Failure Analysis experience. _
- _Experience ON In-Circuit Testing_
