**The Work You'll Do**:
- More specifically, you will:_
- Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions to optimize query response times and system throughput
- Collaborate with software engineers and tech leads to review query designs and schema changes, ensuring efficiency and scalability prior to deployment
- Lead the implementation of patches, upgrades, and migrations with mínimal downtime, including backup/recovery strategies, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery testing
- Collect and analyze performance metrics and provide intelligent recommendations for system improvements
- Communicate database health, maintenance status, and potential risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders




- Leverage AI-assisted tooling and automation to streamline monitoring, root cause analysis, and operational workflows
**What We Need From You**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands-on Database Administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills with a deep understanding of database internals
- Solid, hands-on experience with Oracle (Exadata, RAC) and SQL Server environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Technology teams and influence peers to adopt best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects, support tickets, and team goals simultaneously
- Fluent English, written and verbal
- Comfort working with AI tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency
