**Position Overview**
The Business Development Specialist is a dynamic, multi-faceted role designed for a proactive, sales-driven professional. This individual will own the pipeline for identifying and incubating new revenue streams, working together with the Executive Director to close individual donors, corporate sponsorships, family foundation grants, and government funding.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Business Development & Digital Fundraising**
- **Donor Acquisition**: Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with prospective individual donors, corporate sponsors, and family foundations.
- **Digital Campaigns**: Design and execute web-based and social media fundraising campaigns to drive engagement and donations.
- **Website Optimization**: Leverage SEO and digital marketing strategies to measurably increase monthly recurring subscribers via the school website.
- **Grant Coordination**: Assist in researching, drafting,



and managing grant proposals for government agencies and private foundations.
- **Event Support**: Coordinate and execute locally held fundraising events to boost community engagement and local donor networks.
**2. CRM & Executive Administration**
- **CRM Management**: Maintain and optimize the donor CRM system, ensuring clean data, accurate tracking of the donor pipeline, and timely acknowledgments.
- **Executive Support**: Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, providing calendar management, meeting preparation, and general administrative support.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and maintain data-driven spreadsheets to track fundraising progress.
**Position Requirements & Qualifications**
**Experience & Skills**
- **Professional Fluency**: Full professional fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Little Green Light), Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel/Word), and basic data management.
- **Marketing Toolkit**: Practical working knowledge of SEO, social media algorithms, and digital marketing strategies to support donor growth.




- **Administrative Excellence**: Exceptional attention to detail with proven experience managing complex calendars and preparing financial spreadsheets.

- **Preferred Background**: Prior experience in nonprofit development, education administration, marketing, or business administration.
**What We Offer**
- Fixed base salary of $20,000 MXN / $1,150 USD plus applicable payroll taxes and social security.
- A quarterly bonus tied to attainment of the quarterly revenue plan:
- **On-Target
- Earning at 100% plan attainment** = $60,000 MXN / $3,450 USD (3 x monthly base of $20,000 MXN).
- For 80-99% of plan attainment = 80-99% of $60,000 MXN.
- Great than 100% of plan attainment = 100% + % over plan (Example: 110% of plan attainment = $60,000 MXN x 1.1 = $66,000 MXN).
- For less than 80% of plan attainment = no bonus payment.
