**Job Summary**:
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _**_Product Engineer _**_located in _**_Juarez, South Site. _**
- Reporting to the Project Manager, Product Engineer role_ will be responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical _information / documentation_ from the customer related _to their product,_ derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity._
**What a typical day looks like**:
- _ Handle product transfer and new product setup, with full participation in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process._
- _ Direct support to CFT and Production area._
- _ Follow up, execute, and plan engineering tests for validation processes, and define manufacturing process routes._
- _ Suggest improvements to processes, work instructions, materials, or product changes to ensure superior product quality and production yield._
- _ Resolve product-related and design-related issues, perform failure analysis, and work with the process and quality teams on corrective actions._
- _ Interact with customers and cross-functional teams on product-related issues and engineering changes._
- _ Provide product training to manufacturing and process engineers for a better understanding of the product._
- _ Request, handle,



and administer golden samples and engineering samples of final products and/or piece parts._
- _ Establish, operate, and maintain standard methods for technical information exchange with customers, and manage product drawings and specifications._
- _ Manage and implement bills of materials (BOMs), including BOM scrubbing and control._
- _ Manage and implement engineering changes (ECOs), support cost reduction initiatives, establish process control variables, and participate in the development and update of PFMEA for new products._
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team**:
- _ BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience._
- _ Solid experience as a Product Engineer in a manufacturing environment._
- _ Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, preferably Agile._
- _ Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, BAAN, or Flexflow._
- _ Knowledge of ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and material dispositions._
- _ Knowledge of bill of materials (BOM) creation, interpretation, and structure definition for production._
- _ Experience introducing new projects and participating in NPI (New Product Introduction) processes._
- _ Self-directed with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward; experience leading engineering and technical personnel is a plus._
- _ Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written._
