**Summary**:
Hyatt Place Cancun Airport is seeking an experienced **Assistant Food & Beverage Manager** to support the management and supervision of the **Kitchen and Banquet Operations**.
This position will be responsible for overseeing daily operations while ensuring compliance with brand standards, quality, service excellence, food safety, and profitability goals. The role will provide direct leadership to **cooks, stewards, and banquet/restaurant servers**, fostering a results-driven and guest-focused work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise daily kitchen, restaurant, and banquet operations.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and support financial objectives.
- Prepare and analyze food costing, quotations, and budgets.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
- Lead, train, and develop operational team members.
- Control inventories, requisitions, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.




- Utilize POS systems and administrative tools to support operations and reporting.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant operations.
- Previous experience as:
- Restaurant Chef
- Restaurant Manager
- Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Or similar Food & Beverage leadership positions.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage costing.
- Experience preparing quotations and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience using POS systems, preferably Micros.
- Strong organizational, communication, and results-oriented skills.
