**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental hazards.
- **Must have experience in QA**:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Implement programs to reduce the frequency, severity, and cost of accidents and occupational illnesses.
- Collect and analyze environmental and safety data, creating detailed reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHS training programs.
- Monitor waste management operations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Implement emergency procedures and conduct drills.
- Prepare and update safety policies and procedures manuals.
- Assist in injury and incident inquiries and evaluations.
- Maintain records of all EHS-related incidents and present statistical analysis to management.
- Stay up to date on local, state, and federal safety regulations to ensure company compliance.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Previous experience in a medical device enviroment
- Associate's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is preferred.
- Proven experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
- Intermediate English level.
**WORK ENVIROMENT**:
- This position may require working in various environments, including office settings, manufacturing floors, and outdoor locations.
- The role may involve exposure to hazardous materials and conditions, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
