Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring compliance with Jabil's quality standards and operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities

- Execute purchase orders for assigned commodities and services, adhering to established purchasing policies and procedures.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes for Jabil.
- Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality, and elevate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, production, logistics) to understand material requirements and resolve supply chain issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update supplier information in the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring timely material availability.




- Participate in supplier qualification and evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Jabil policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement or a supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of supply chain principles and purchasing best practices.
