Job Purpose

To develop, design, and optimize products, structures, or components using specialized 3D design software, ensuring the functionality, quality, aesthetics, and manufacturability of company projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and renderings of products or structures.

Interpret design requirements from clients or the sales department.

Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing departments to validate the technical feasibility of designs.

Generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications).

Participate in product development and continuous improvement meetings.

Ensure designs comply with internal quality and safety standards.

Conduct simulations or virtual tests when required by the project.

Propose improvements to materials, processes, or design methods to optimize costs and manufacturing times.





Provide technical support to the production department during project manufacturing or installation.

Maintain up-to-date digital design files and backups.

Requirements:

Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Rhino, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.

Knowledge of technical drawings, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.

Basic knowledge of strength analysis or simulation (desirable).
