Job description

- Preparation of the creditable and transferred VAT bridge account database with all the information on transactions for the current period, analyzing the correct classification of taxes and randomly validating the tax requirements of digital tax receipts
- Preparation of working papers for creditable VAT and transferred VAT for transactions actually paid and collected, which will be used to determine and file federal taxes, based on the accounting records at the end of each period
- Preparation of working papers for VAT and income tax withholdings on domestic and foreign transactions, which will be used to determine and file federal taxes, based on the accounting records at the end of each period
- Validation of the reconciliation of monthly income prepared by the accounts receivable area, which will be used to determine taxes
- Filing of taxes for group companies (Mexico and Colombia) on the SAT platform, including DIOT, Electronic Accounting, etc
- Preparation of files for the submission of VAT credit balance requests, as well as follow-up on information requirements related to the request and/or any other information requested by the authority
- Preparation of manual accounting records at the end of the tax period. As well as the cleaning of tax accounts




- Preparation of working papers for the filing of the annual return, ISSIF, information returns and ensuring proper compliance
- Preparation of the corporate report for the half-year and annual determination of deferred tax and current income tax
- Filing of the quarterly and annual foreign investment report with the Ministry of Economy

Profile

- Bachelor's degree in public accounting
- At least 2 years professional experience in a similar position
- Microsoft Office suite (preferably with knowledge of macros and Excel functions for data management)
- Experience working with an ERP system (preferably SAP)
- Current tax legislation
