Culturalia will be an organisation working to provide the highest levels of quality in teaching. We work to provide our students with international standards of performance for certifications. We aim to create a stimulating environment and promote enthusiasm for learning. We work to encourage critical thinking about our own and our partners' personal and professional growth.

We offer after-school general English courses to kids, teenagers and adults. Courses are structured within the CEFRL at A1-C1 levels. We use Cambridge University Press materials for international exams preparation.

Instructors teach as independent professionals working for the NGO to bring students from one level of English language to the next one up. We use a communicative language teaching approach and task-based activities to train students in the four skills: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.



We also teach grammar and vocabulary and test them using the Cambridge One platform.

Teachers organise their lessons using the syllabus, road map and textbooks as their tools. Nonetheless, teachers are also encouraged to use their creativity to facilitate the learning process and widen students horizons. Teachers. students and anyone working in the school must follow rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, our child Protection Code of Conduct, Privacy Statement and School's Rules and Regulations.

Qualifications

- Native speaker or certified near-native speakers of English
- Related first degree or teacher training certification (CELTA)
- Independent, proactive and willing to learn

Salary and Benefits

From Mex$12,500 / month

≈ £541 / $730 / €633

The compensation is adequate for the region and considers a maximum of 25 class-hours per week. Any extra work is paid by class or by hour, depending on the opening opportunity. We pay your taxes, offer assistance with housing and work permit. There is a possibility to reimburse the cost of the work permit after satisfactory completion of the one year contract.
