We are seeking a strategic purchasing leader with advanced English and strong experience in **stainless steel (preferred)**, as well as steel, aluminum, stampings, forgings, castings, machined components, fasteners, and brackets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies, with a focus on stainless steel.
- Manage sourcing for both high
- and low-volume production.
- Oversee CAPEX and tooling procurement.
- Negotiate with suppliers on cost, quality, and delivery.
- Monitor global commodity markets.
- Drive risk mitigation and tariff strategies.
- Manage RFQ processes end-to-end.
- Support new product launches (NPI).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional teams.
- Resolve supply issues and manage escalations.
**Requirements**:
- 8+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain (automotive preferred).
- Experience in stainless steel sourcing preferred.
- Strong understanding of integral markets and cost drivers.
- SAP proficiency.
- Advanced English.
