We are looking to add a highly motivated individual to establish and oversee our parts department to ensure timely availability of parts for customers and service technicians.
Key responsibilities include managing inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating with other departments like service and sales.
This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and construction.
Core responsibilities
- **Inventory management**: Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure parts are organized for efficiency.
- **Procurement and supply chain**: Order parts, track shipments, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate prices.
- **Team leadership**: Supervise and train parts department staff, delegate tasks, and manage schedules.




- **Customer service**: Handle inquiries and issues from both internal (service technicians) and external (customers) parties.
- **Sales and profitability**: Boost parts sales and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- **Record-keeping**: Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and transactions via digital platforms.
Key skills and qualifications
- Minimum 5 Years working in fast paced parts departments
- Knowledge of forklfit parts and/or heavy machinery industry
- Adept with ERP systems or parts inventory systems
- Skilled in managing logistics both domestically and international importations
- Start-up experience a plus but not mandatory
