Digital Payments Backend Engineer Java or .NET We are looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in digital payment solutions to design and integrate secure, scalable backend services for financial transactions. Required qualifications
5 to 8 years of backend development experience.
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot or .NET. Proficiency in both is not required.
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Experience integrating enterprise applications.
Experience in the financial sector and implementing digital payment solutions.
Handson experience in at least two of the following areas
Click to Pay or Secure Remote Commerce.
Card tokenization, card vaulting or stored cards.
3DS2 or 3D Secure 2.
Passkeys using WebAuthn or FIDO2.
CredentialonFile, storedcard payments or recurring payments.
Advanced English proficiency at C1 level.
Currently residing in Mexico.
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of PCI DSS.
Experience with ISO 8583.
Familiarity with Mastercard MDES or Visa Token Service.
Experience with digital or mobile wallets.
Integrations with issuers, acquirers, payment processors or payment gateways.
Knowledge of payment authorizations, declines, reversals and reconciliation processes.




Responsibilities
Design and develop APIs and microservices for digital payment solutions.
Implement integrations related to payment tokenization, authentication and processing.
Integrate internal platforms with wallets, banks, payment processors and other payment solutions.
Ensure the security, quality, availability and performance of backend services.
Participate in technical design and productionincident resolution.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Product and Frontend teams.
Perform technical testing and prepare technical documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies.
Position details
Work arrangement 100 remote from Mexico.
Initial assignment 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Compensation MXN 99,000 net per month under a mixed compensation scheme.
Work equipment is provided.
