We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara. The idóneo candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in backend development, focusing on building robust and scalable APIs.

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our applications.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend services and APIs using Java 11.
- Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and services.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend systems.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Java 11, with a solid understanding of object oriented programming principles.




- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
