ABOUT THIS ROLEWe are currently looking for a (Full Time) Staff Accountant to join our growing team who will be responsible for the preparation of reconciliations, review, analysis, research, written variance explanations, and follow up on unusual movements. In addition with continued growth to the segment new opportunities will materialize providing chances to expand knowledge in other sectors of the company. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly calculation of Accounts Receivables and the recording of the Bad-Debt Reserve accrual for doubtful accounts for 5 companies (pre-close).Monthly preparation and analysis of Accounts Receivables Reconciliation for 5 Companies (post-close).Follow up with the Account Receivables department on unusual, aged receivables and incorrect accounting entries.Reconciliation and Analysis of P&L; accounts pertaining to Bad-Debt.Recording journal entries for Accounts Receivables write offs for 5 companies.Monthly preparation and analysis of Payables accounts.Follow up with the Accounts Payable Department on aged payables and incorrect entries.Assisting management with external/internal audit requests.Calculation of partner commissions and coordinating monthly settlement of commissions.Recording journal entries of bank service fees for various bank accounts.Perform other duties as required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required 2+ years’ experience in accounting or related field Proficient in Word and Excel Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships Bilingual-English required.
