This role is responsible for analyzing transportation performance across the Americas region (US, Mexico, and Canada), identifying opportunities for cost savings, service improvement, and network optimization. This position works closely with our transportation providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure strong performance in cost, quality, and on-time delivery across parcel, LTL, TL, drayage, air, and ocean modes. The role will support initiatives impacting transportation spend, focusing on analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement opportunities. This position requires at least 3 years of Americas transportation management experience. Candidates must be physically located Pacific Standard time zones.
What should your background look like:Analyze transportation data across the Americas network (US, Mexico, Canada) including Full Truckload (TL), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Parcel, and Port-to-Door shipments (Air & Ocean).Develop and maintain transportation KPIs including:On-time pickup / deliveryCost pershipment / modeCarrier performanceClaims and service metricsPerform detailed analysis of shipment data to identify:
Freight cost reduction opportunitiesMode optimization (LTL vs TL, Air vs Ocean, Parcel vs LT/TL)Network inefficiencies and route optimizationConsolidation opportunitiesSupport transportation improvement initiatives includingAnalyzing historical dataSupporting carrier evaluationDeveloping insights into decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Planning, Procurement, andFinance to improve end-to-end supply chain performanceGenerate executive-level reports and presentations summarizing insights, trends, and recommend ationsEnsure accurate and consistent data usage across TMS, ERP, and reporting toolsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization
Qualifications3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain analyticsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related fieldStrong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Technical SkillsAdvanced Excel (mandatory)Experience with Power BI / Tableau (mandatory)Experience with SAP / TMS / ERP systems (preferred)Ability to manage and analyze large datasetsUnderstanding of: TL / LTL / Parcel / Air/ OceanCross-border US–Mexico operations (preferred)Freight cost drivers (weight, dimensions, accessorials)Basic knowledge of Incoterms and transportation documentationExperience in transportation
