FIRST ELECTRICAL OFFICER | SEMISUBMERSIBLE | INTERNATIONAL OFFSHORE EXPERIENCE | MEXICO

We´re currently looking for an experienced First Electrical Officer for an offshore semisubmersible operation in Mexico.

We are looking for a professional with solid international offshore experience, particularly someone who has worked in demanding offshore environments such as the North Sea, UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), or other international offshore markets.

THE ROLE

The position is responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic systems onboard, including:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance

• Electrical and electronic equipment

• Navigation, automation and control systems

• Troubleshooting and technical support

• Maintenance planning and execution

• Coordination of contractors and technical resources

• Spare parts and maintenance requirements

• Compliance with HSE and offshore operational standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanics, Marine Engineering or a related field





• Minimum 2 years of offshore experience as an Electrical/Electronics Officer or equivalent position

• Experience onboard semisubmersibles , offshore drilling units, DP vessels or similar offshore assets

• Strong electrical/electronic maintenance background in a marine or offshore environment

• International offshore experience is highly valued

• Experience in the North Sea, UKCS or NCS is a strong advantage

• Experience working with international offshore standards and multicultural crews

• Intermediate English or higher
