We're hiring an experienced Legal Assistant to support US law firms.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal correspondence and documents
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial materials
- Assist attorneys with legal research and document preparation
- Manage e-filing across court portals and track filing deadlines
- Schedule appointments, depositions, and court dates, keeping calendars current
- Maintain and update case management systems with accurate, current information
- Handle client communications and provide administrative support as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Required: Prior experience at a U.S. law firm or U.S.-based legal company
- Solid understanding of litigation procedures and civil court processes
- Comfortable in case management systems
- E-filing portal experience is a plus
- U.S. law experience background strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (C1 English or higher)
- Strong writing, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Available to work U.S. business hours
