The Quality Engineer is responsible of maintaining and improve Quality systems AS 9100 & NADCAP certifications in good standing, and for the overall management of the Site’s Quality System. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes.

Responsibilities
- Site Quality resource responsible for coordinating activities required for continued AS 9100/ NADCAP certification including internal auditing, risk assessment & corrective action systems, ensuring completion and maintenance of Quality records, documentation, and test data
- Develop Quality Assurance Plans by identifying critical control points and preventive measures, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
- Coordinates activities and provides direction to the Quality Inspectors in the performance of their assigned roles and responsibilities in support of the facility and customer requirements.




- Participates in external visits as from customers, quality audits/reviews, FAIRS, PPAP.
- Responsible for the compliance to the AEC calibration system in the Mexico facility.
- Responsible for the nonconformance and CA system deployed at the Querétaro facility to include effective implementation and closures to meet AEC requirements.
- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodology, i.e., Toyota Production System, Deming philosophy, Kepner Tregoe ATS.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
- Bilingual with excellent verbal and written English skills
