Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for our software projects, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and implement robust and scalable AWS cloud architectures, leveraging expertise in AWS services and solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize the build and release processes for various services.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform.
- Manage and optimize IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, ensuring maximum security, efficiency and performance.
- Develop and maintain detailed solution plans, blueprints, and documentation for cloud-based architectures and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain best practices for security and compliance.




- Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to program in Go as the language used for all test automation
- Sufficient proficiency in Python and the PIP package manager to create an example test project
- Sufficient proficiency in NPM and the NPM package manager to create an example test project
- Sufficient proficiency in Docker to create an example test project
- Proficiency in with Google Cloud Platform and the gcloud CLI for creating resources and automation to run cloud hosted tests
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with GCP cloud services.
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (eg Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting lang
