You’ll collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, HR and other teams to understand internal processes and build a risk-aware culture. This is a great opportunity to bring structure and strategy to a fast-growing tech environment.

You will be responsible for:

Identifying risks across operations, legal, HR and finance processes, and proposing mitigation strategies.

Reviewing and improving policies, controls, and compliance procedures.

Make internal audits and ensuring implementation of corrective actions.

Providing clear guidance to different departments regarding regulatory obligations (labor law, tax, privacy, etc.).

Promoting compliance awareness across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify potential internal and external risks (operational, legal, financial, reputational).



Develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Create or strengthen internal controls. Maintain a risk matrix.

Ensure Odoo’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., labor laws, civil protection, liability, tax compliance, anti-corruption, data protection). Proactively monitor regulatory changes. Communicate with external regulators or auditors when necessary.

Investigations / Audits: Work closely with other Odoo departments to assess how certain matters are being handled, identify risks or areas for improvement, and from there, recommend and, when applicable, define internal policies.

Report to management on key risks and provide recommendations to reduce risk exposure.

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or similar.

3 - 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.

Strong knowledge of Mexican legislation: tax, labor, and privacy/data protection
