KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

TEACHING AND LEARNING (EYFS FRAMEWORK)

* Plan, prepare, and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS areas of
learning.
* Implement play-based, child-centered learning experiences that support
exploration and discovery.
* Support development across the seven areas of learning: communication and
language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development,
literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and
design.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages
curiosity and independence.

OBSERVATION, ASSESSMENT, AND PLANNING

* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with EYFS
requirements.
* Maintain accurate learning journeys and developmental records.
* Use ongoing assessment to inform planning and individualized learning
experiences.
* Identify children who may need additional support and implement early
interventions.

CARE AND WELLBEING

* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional security of all children.
* Support children’s personal care needs,



including hygiene, feeding, and
toileting as appropriate.
* Promote positive behavior, routines, and independence.
* Foster strong attachments and positive relationships with children.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

* Organize and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
* Prepare and manage age-appropriate learning materials and resources.
* Ensure all areas are compliant with health and safety requirements.

PARENT PARTNERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION

* Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers.
* Communicate regularly about children’s development, wellbeing, and progress.
* Participate in parent meetings, workshops, and school events.
* Support a collaborative approach between home and school.

SAFEGUARDING AND COMPLIANCE

* Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
* Ensure compliance with EYFS statutory requirements, health and safety
standards, and school poli
