The opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our MEP team in Hermosillo. You will work alongside licensed engineers on complex, multi-discipline building projects — designing HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems that perform reliably and efficiently.



This role offers direct exposure to U.S. project standards, international best practices, and a clear path toward becoming a senior engineer or project lead.
What you will do
- Design HVAC systems including air handling units, fan coil units, VAV systems, exhaust systems, and ductwork distribution for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
- Design plumbing systems including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary drainage, stormwater, and specialty piping for various occupancy types
- Develop full construction document packages in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including mechanical plans, equipment schedules, riser diagrams, and details
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations using HAP, Trace 700, or equivalent software
- Size and select mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handling units
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural
