Role Description
This full-time, on-site Logistics Assistant role at GLS FORWARDING GROUP is based in Hermosillo, SON. The Logistics Assistant will support daily logistics operations, including coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and communicating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, organizing warehouse activities, assisting with purchasing processes, and updating records in relevant systems. The role also involves handling customer inquiries related to orders and deliveries, resolving basic issues, and escalating complex matters when needed. The Logistics Assistant will contribute to process improvements, maintain compliance with company procedures, and support the logistics team with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.




- Experience with inventory management and basic warehouse operations, including tracking stock levels and maintaining accurate records.
- Solid organization skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes and logistics management, including coordinating shipments and preparing related documentation.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, ERP or logistics systems) and basic data entry skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Hermosillo, SON, and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of transportation, import/export, or forwarding operations is preferred.
