About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Accountant
to join our growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate who is eager to develop their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The adecuado candidate has a strong accounting foundation, gained through a combination of internships or work experience during college and early professional experience after graduation. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, high energy, and a willingness to learn, take ownership, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with accruals, prepaids, and other general ledger activities
- Prepare schedules and reports to support the accounting team




- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain financial information as needed
- Support audit requests and other ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements
Qualifications
- Available to work full-time on-site at our Midtown office
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, including experience gained while attending university (internships, accounting firms, tax firms, or similar) and/or up to one year of professional experience after graduation
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience performing general accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Professional English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
