BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for
“dynamic, results driven
” individual to join as a
Assy Process Engineer
to Provide technical support in quality and manufacturing engineering for production areas and product launch activities that meet or exceed customer expectations. Responsible for implementing appropriate actions to maintain and improve manufacturing processes in accordance with safety, quality, productivity, cost, and environmental care requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement improvements with manufacturing teams to reduce product cost, enhance quality, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure maximum safety, quality, capacity, and utilization of manufacturing/processing equipment and special processes within the assigned area.
- Continuously research and implement “Best Practice” manufacturing and processing methods.
- Responsible for the introduction of new products and modifications to existing ones. Communicate with purchasing and suppliers to define product specifications,



organize equipment/material/part purchases, and evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; design equipment layouts and workspace to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Participate in product design reviews and contribute manufacturing-oriented ideas and lessons learned.
- Ensure effective quality control and process systems are developed, implemented, and maintained.
- Determine, justify, and coordinate the purchase and implementation of new equipment and processes in collaboration with manufacturing teams; track tooling and Approval Request (AR) expenditures.
- Assist in the design and construction of manufacturing/assembly/processing equipment and processes.
- Solve problems using robust methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, A3, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys, including statistical problem-solving techniques.
