About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client a fintech company with international operations — for a Human Resources Manager to join their Mexico City team. This role covers the full HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations, primarily supporting operations and front-line staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment for operations management and front-line roles, from resume screening through hiring
- Organize interviews, background checks, qualification review, and document verification
- Support onboarding, pre-job training, and probation follow-up for new hires
- Manage attendance tracking, leave approval, and separation processes
- Run performance appraisals; handle payroll calculation, tax filing support, and salary disbursement
- Build employee engagement through team motivation and recognition programs
- Handle administrative processes: employment contracts, IMSS (social security), INFONAVIT (housing fund), and related legal filings
- Ensure full compliance with Mexico's Federal Labor Law (LFT)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of HR experience (recruitment/employee relations); call center, collections, or fintech background preferred
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and hiring/onboarding processes
- Intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Spanish fluency is required; English is a plus.
