Material Planner
Position Summary

Responsible for planning and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and components required for production, maintaining optimal inventory levels while meeting customer demand and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions according to material requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Analyze MRP results and resolve material discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure material availability.
- Expedite critical materials to avoid production interruptions.
- Track supplier performance regarding delivery commitments.
- Participate in inventory control activities, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
- Support engineering changes (ECN/ECR) related to material planning.
- Prepare reports and analyze inventory, shortages,



supplier performance, and material status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Material Planning, Production Planning within the automotive industry.
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and production planning.
- Understanding of supply chain processes.
- English proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge
- SAP (MM/PP modules).
- MRP planning.
- APICS principles (preferred).
- Inventory control.
- Lean Manufacturing.
- IATF 16949
- Logistics and supplier managemen
