Role Description
The Lead Data Scientist role is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving data science initiatives that support client and internal business objectives. This role leads the end-to-end development of advanced analytics solutions, including problem definition, data exploration, model design, validation, and deployment. The Lead Data Scientist collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business challenges into analytical approaches, and communicate findings in clear, actionable terms. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring data scientists and analysts, establishing best practices, designing scalable data pipelines, and overseeing the quality of statistical and machine learning models. The role also involves presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences, contributing to solution proposals, and continuously evaluating new tools and methodologies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Data Science skills,



including experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and end-to-end model lifecycle management.
- Candidates should possess solid Statistics skills, such as hypothesis testing, experimental design, and statistical inference for real-world datasets.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills to interpret complex data, derive insights, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Data Visualization skills to communicate findings clearly using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading data teams, setting technical direction, and collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
